Shinano’s Camouflage appeared in the game World of Warships, the way to get it will be announced in a later date.Shinano’s naval code is M119, M standing for Maizuru.Shinano carries a different radar dish in the movie than Yamato does.She participates in the competition and is later used alongside her three sister ships trying to destroy the fortress.
The Shinano’s first and only appearance is in the movie being manned by students of the Maizuru school. She is the largest warship ever sunk with torpedos by a submarine. She was sunk at the 29th November 1944 300 Km southeast of Muroto in Japan by the United States submarine Archerfish together with her escort of 3 destroyers after receiving 4 torpedo hits. The Shinano, at this time not completed, was converted to an auxiliary carrier. Shinano was originally planned and built as a Yamato-class battleship comparable to the Yamato and the Musashi but she was converted to an auxiliary fleet carrier after the heavy Japanese losses of carriers at the Battle of Midway.
